STRIVE Luncheon and Scholarships

Our Program on May 14^th was our club’s annual STRIVE Recognition lunch. Our STRIVE students and their parents joined us for lunch and the club was introduced to the 4 scholarship winners, as well as all of the students who participated. Dick Glover handled the STRIVE portion of the program, and had all students present introduce their parents to the club. Also present was Dave Adney, retiring principal of MHS whom Glover credits with providing great administrative support to program.

Some of the mentors in the program spoke, notably Don Draayer and Steve Frazier, both former educators who value the program. Bob Humphrey also spoke.
